Product Description


Positive leg(KP leg) is universally known as Ni90Cr10 or Chromel.
Negative leg( KN leg) is universally known as Alumel or NiAlCo/ NiSi3

Thermocouple wire Type K is supplied in the form of bare wire with dimension from 0.1mm to 8.0mm

For oxidised wires the available dimensions are 1.2 to 8mm.
Thermocouple wire can also be supplied in the form of stranded wire.

Type K Thermocouple (Nickel-Chromium / Nickel-Alumel): The type K is the most common type of thermocouple. It's inexpensive, accurate, reliable, and has a wide temperature range. The type K is commonly found in nuclear applications because of its relative radiation hardness. Maximum continuous temperature is around 1,100C.
